Website for a photographer
Nathan Apffel Photography
A portfolio for my film photographs, organized in four series, with one viewer that steps through every picture.
Rebuilt to replace WordPress and let the pictures take the whole screen.
What it does
The photographs live in four series: Fantricide, Abductions, Disintegration and Super America. Each series has its own page, and every picture opens in the same viewer, picture on one side and its text on the other, with arrows and swiping.
Like the painting site, it replaced a WordPress install with a static site, kept the old addresses working, and handles its own contact form.
- Four series, each with its own page
- One viewer for every picture, with arrows and swipe
- The address follows the picture, so any photo can be shared
- Old WordPress addresses redirect to their new pages
- Contact form without an outside service
